Warehouse AssociateWe are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our fast-paced distribution team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing warehouse operations, including order picking, loading and unloading shipments, and operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, and Hi-Lo lifts. Your expertise will ensure smooth warehouse distribution processes, accurate inventory management, and safe handling of materials. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a thriving logistics environment while developing your skills in warehouse management systems and equipment repair.DutiesOperate various heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials safely within the warehousePerform order picking with precision using warehouse management systems and manual methods to fulfill customer orders efficientlyManage shipping and receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and completenessConduct routine inspections and basic maintenance of warehouse equipment to ensure safety and optimal performanceHandle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and adherence to OSHA safety standardsAssist in inventory management tasks such as stock counts, cycle counts, and updating warehouse management system recordsSupport warehouse supervision by maintaining a clean, organized work environment and adhering to safety protocols at all timesExperienceProven experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo lifts, and pallet jacksStrong background in warehouse distribution or logistics environments with familiarity in shipping & receiving proceduresKnowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) for order picking and inventory controlMechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic equipment repairs and troubleshoot mechanical issuesPrior experience in materials handling, heavy lifting, and safe equipment operation in compliance with OSHA standardsWarehouse supervisor experience is a plus but not required; leadership skills are beneficial for team collaborationBasic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation accuracyJoin our team if you're eager to operate heavy equipment safely while contributing to efficient warehouse operations!
