Job Description
Primary Function:
Oversee incoming customer requests in a custom signage and printing environment. Sign shop experience is required to be considered . Ability to develop a creative understanding of customer needs. Provide creative direction to designer for development of customer vision or direction, schedules site surveys, creates estimates & quotes, follows up on estimates to convert to sales and permit submission. Responsible for ordering inventory and materials from company suppliers and scheduling installation. Works closely with production and installation team to ensure projects are delivered on time and of the highest quality.
Responsibilities:
1. Ability to transfer understanding of customer design expectations, position requires a high level of creativity and development of rendering’s & proofs.
2. Collection of documents, customer artwork, proofs and creating bids within invoicing system for each project.
3. Place orders for parts and materials as directed, expedite delivery and manage accounts payable.
4. Maintain inventory of consumable items.
5. May Communicate and greet customers, answer phone, keep customers informed of schedule.
6. Meet with Business Owner and team first thing each morning to review the day’s assignments and materials required. Bring system status report to meeting for review.
7. Work with Installation Team & Accounts Receivables per the outlined system.
8. Assist as directed with general office duties.
Outcomes:
1. Creative vision to support design team, correct measurements, photographs.
2. Project files and documents are up to date.
3. Parts and materials are ordered, tracked, maintained to meet the project production schedule.
4. Meet project completion expectations and on time delivery of projects.

Education & Required Experience:
1. Sign Shop Experience a must to be considered .
2. Knowledge of various office computer software and willingness to adapt to new systems.
3. Experience working in face paced office environment.
4. Organizational skills to follow the individual projects to manage the parts, time required and the associated documents.
5. Knowledge of basic math & accounting would be an advantage.
Type of Employment & Working Conditions:
It is an office environment, but there will be a need to communicate with the employees in the production & manufacturing areas. As well as complete site survey’s for new projects off site.
