Job Description Exciting Opportunity for a Dedicated Cardiovascular Tech!
Join our dynamic team as a Cardiovascular Tech and make a difference in the lives of patients!
- Shift Details:
- Day Shift: 4x10-Hour (06:45 - 17:15)
- One week day call per week
- Every 5th weekend call
- Patient Census:
- Average Daily Census: 25-30 patients
- Patient Age Group: Adults and Geriatrics
- Work Environment:
- Fast-paced setting with 7 rooms
- Experience in outpatient and inpatient care is required
- Responsibilities:
- Conduct angioplasty, stenting, and catheterizations
- Perform IV starts and EKGs
- Assist in special procedures (Paracentesis, Thoracentesis)
- Be ready to float to Electrophysiology (EP) as needed
- Actively engage in STEMI/PCI facility practices
- Qualifications:
- ARRT certification must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a STEMI/PCI facility
- Current ACLS, BLS certifications
- Must be IABP and Impella trained
- Work Settings and Skills:
- Familiarity with Epic EMR is required
- Knowledge of diagnostic invasive testing and interventions
- Skills in adult patient care in a fast-paced environment
- Team Dynamics:
- We are looking for a professional who thrives in a collaborative environment
- Expect to float to other units as needed
- Engage in interdisciplinary support for patient care
- Traveler Requirements:
- Local candidates located within 50 miles will not be accepted
- References from the last 24 months are required
- Must provide SSN, DOB, and certifications during submittal
- Pending Ohio License acceptable, but must have MI license in hand
