Release Manager – Cybersecurity & Infrastructure

Location: Downtown Chicago, IL | Hybrid Schedule

Job Type: Long-Term Contract

Experience: 7+ Years

$65-67/hr W2

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Release Manager to support high-impact cybersecurity and infrastructure security initiatives within a leading global financial services organization.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex enterprise environments, enjoys coordinating critical technology releases, and understands the importance of security, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

Release Manager – Cybersecurity & Infrastructure - What You'll Do:

\n
• Lead release planning, coordination, and execution across multiple cybersecurity and infrastructure workstreams.
\n
• Manage release schedules, dependencies, deployment readiness, and go/no-go decisions.
\n
• Partner with Security Engineering, Infrastructure, Application, and Change Management teams.
\n
• Oversee production releases involving network segmentation, security controls, and infrastructure changes.
\n
• Identify and mitigate release risks, ensuring appropriate testing, approvals, and rollback plans.
\n
• Ensure compliance with enterprise change management, governance, and audit requirements.
\n
• Provide clear communication to technical teams and senior stakeholders.
\n

Release Manager – Cybersecurity & Infrastructure - What We're Looking For:

\n
• Strong experience managing complex infrastructure, cybersecurity, or enterprise technology releases.
\n
• Proven understanding of release management, change control, risk management, and production deployments.
\n
• Experience working within financial services or another highly regulated industry.
\n
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar release management tools.
\n
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and enterprise deployment practices.
\n
• Ability to coordinate multiple teams, vendors, and concurrent releases.
\n
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
\n

Preferred: Experience with network segmentation, firewalls, identity management, or cloud security releases.
